Warranty

At Whimsical Things, we are committed to providing high-quality foam and fabric products that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. We stand behind the quality of our products and offer a limited 12 month warranty to ensure your satisfaction. This warranty applies to all brand new foam and fabric products purchased directly from whimsicalthings.ca or any authorized retailer. 

Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery. This warranty is only applicable to products that are purchased directly from our store and extends only to the original purchaser. 

FABRIC COVER WARRANTY

We offer a 12 month one-time per issue repair/replacement on seams and zipper malfunctions including:

  • Seam tears due to normal everyday use.
  • Zippers that cannot be opened or closed due to normal everyday use, not including zippers caught on fabric and zippers put under extreme pressure.
  • Missing stitches.

FOAM WARRANTY

We offer a 12 month warranty on our foam products. This warranty covers:

  • Expansion issues - Should your foam fail to regain shape after 4 weeks from opening, impacting its intended performance. 
  • Miscut shapes with discrepancies greater than 1 inch. Differences under 1 inch are considered normal in the industry and are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

It is important to note that our warranty does not cover products that are labeled as "final sale", "clearance", or "perfectly imperfect." These products are sold as-is and are not eligible for warranty coverage.

Foam products that are not opened within 14 days of receipt are excluded from this warranty.

The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser, meaning the first person to purchase the product directly from us.

Our products are designed for personal use only. Items bought for commercial or business purposes are not included in this warranty.

Damages caused by misuse, including stains, rips, liquid damage, burns, dryer burns, cuts, and overall negligence, are not covered under this warranty.

Reporting Defects

If you believe that your product has a defect covered by our Refund policy, it is important to report the defect within 14 days of receiving the item. Claims made after this 14 day period will not be considered for replacement under our return and refund policy and will be considered, if applicable, under this warranty policy only. 

Warranty Claim Process

If you have a valid warranty claim, please contact us at hello@whimsicalthings.ca with the following information:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Order number and date of purchase
  • Date the order was received
  • Date the product was opened
  • A detailed description of the defect
  • Clear photos or videos showing the defect

Our team will review your claim and determine if it meets the criteria for warranty coverage. If approved, we will provide instructions for returning, donating, and/or destroying the defective product and arrange for a replacement or refund to be sent to you.

Replacements are not always available and may take up to 3 months to be delivered. We proudly produce our curated products in small scale. Should a replacement be the right solution to your warranty claim, the specific time frame will be informed to you and you beforehand.
